I really love bulletin boards.. Inches and inches of available space to pin inspirational items -- oh yes!
I wanted to give a creative flair to my bulletin boards -- so I decided to paint them.
My long bulletin board I painted a gray color:

Then I painted the frame gray as well.. but I added a rustic touch by running sandpaper over it after painting. I love the result!

I had a smaller bulletin board -- I decided to paint stripes on this one!

I taped off the stripes -- and the sides of the board. I didn't want stripes on my frame.
Here is the finished product, set up in my little office space!
